I was doodling a few sketches, and I came across a really good idea to draw a scene of how the future would look like, along with a message of gratitude for the hard-working medical staff right now.

I decided to express my predictions onto paper. Since the spread of COVID-19 isn’t slowing down, many children and families are still under lockdown. There are also, many children out in the world, who are alone in the house because their parents or guardians work as a medical staff. There are also children who are separated from their family members due to a COVID-19 infected family member.

I was predicting this situation would become more severe in the future if people don’t continue wearing masks and trying the best efforts to sanitize their environments.

As mentioned earlier, I also wanted to draw this poster in meaning of gratitude for the medical staff. Unfortunately, being a medical staff is very difficult. There are often news articles of medical staff being poorly treated by the patients, or cases in which the medical staff faint from fatigue and the hot temperatures inside the medical staffs’ suits. I really want to thank the nurses, medical staff, and doctors who are trying their best efforts to really enhance and heal the lives of others even when they are also in great risk of getting infected with COVID. Thank you medical staff! You will surely be blessed in the future thanks to your dedication for the world!!

My drawing is capturing a precious moment of the bonding between a preschool child and his/her parent, who is a medical staff. The preschool child just finished his/her preschool and returned back to the hospital for a quick visit to see his/her parent in a long time, as the parent is long gone to treat patients. However, because of the sanitization, the two cannot physically touch each other, and the only way they can have the closest contact is through the window.
