Our club recently hosted a slime session for faculty and faculty kids. This session was dedicated to increasing more parent-to-kid interaction among the faculty and faculty kids since faculty members are busy during school days.
We initially had 3 faculty members who signed up for the event, but fortunately, we were able to recruit more interested faculty members by the time of our event!
We let the kids make slime through our presentation that we prepared, with the materials that our members also brought.
The experiment was carried out with safety goggles and gloves on to also teach the kids the importance of lab safety rules.
Here are some photos of our club’s event!

The event was extremely successful as faculty members were very thankful for our club for making a memorable learning experience for the kids, and I remember some of the faculty kids walking up to me to ask “Can we redo this experiment again some day?”
We hope to carry out more service events in the future!
